What is the source of happiness? What do you think? Does it come from your partner telling you how much you are loved? Does it come from the complements your boss delivers to you?
When you want to live in happiness where do you crusade to locate the source? Does it spring forth from man else like water springs forth from the ground or the rocks? Does it awaken in your heart when you think of past happy moments?
Can you find happiness by buying more and more material things? How about taking vacations to fun places? Can a trip to Disney World with your best friend give you happiness-that lasts permanently?
Nothing covering of you can bring you happiness - nothing and no one. Your source of happiness lies within you. Is it hidden inside you? Not really, though you may have suppressed it when you were a small child. Look at a baby or toddler. Watch the sheer delight they express all day long. They are happy. They make gleeful sounds as they play. Get a clue. Happiness is inborn.
Adults talk kids out of living in that truth. They tell them to act grown up, to be mature. Adults take the fun out of childhood leaving a deprived private who forgets how to be happy naturally and must shape out what to do to get it back.
People run to all kinds of seminars and self help groups finding covering themselves for their answers that lie within-and only within themselves. No one has the happiness recipe for anything else. Sure, happy people display confident traits that unhappy people do not appear to possess.
The operative word there is "appear." people never lose what they were born with and born knowing. Get rid of the clutter and noise that keep you from hearing your own truth. Whether learn how to hypnotize yourself or meditate so you can shut out all external and internal stimuli and favorably and well go within to find what you already know but tucked away many years ago.
